Exporting USDZ from Blender
For best results, ensure your mesh is
Placed at the scene origin (0,0,0)
Scale is real-world accurate, in metric units (cm) preferably
Simplify your textures for best results.
Bake any procedural textures. Procedural textures will not translate properly into your usdz file. The video below shows you how to do that simply.
Export a USDZ
File > Export > Universal Scene Description (.usd*)
Match the settings shown below.
Optional Choices:
Selection Only - If you have items in your scene you do not intend to include in the export, and only want to export what you have selected. Glossi currently only supports static meshes.
Visible Only - Similar to “Selection Only”, this option ignores hidden meshes.
Overwrite Textures - Check this if you’ve made changes to a texture and would like to overwrite a previous.
Save as a Preset for easy repeat uses.
Rename the file extension from “.usdc” to “.usdz” then click Export USD.
